3 Days Tsavo East/ West National Park

Red ElephantsDay 1

Meet and greet at 0530hrs at your hotel and drive about 100km along the Tarmac road in the direction of Nairobi.

Enter the Famous Tsavo National Park, which began around the turn of the century when the Kenya-Uganda Railway and Tsavo Bridge were built. It was then that this territory was declared to be a national Park because of its abundance of Wildlife.

Tsavo is well known for its population of Red Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras, Giraffes, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Ostrich, Impalas and Many types of Gazelles. Occasionally Lions and Cheetahs may be seen. Aquatic birds will be seen at Aruba. A wide variety of animals are usually in the Vicinity of the Dam offering a good opportunity for Photographs. Lunch at Lodge.

Further game drives after lunch. Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

HippoDay 2

After breakfast drive to Tsavo West National Park. A visit to Mzima Springs where thousands gallons of water flow every day from the nearby volcanic Chyulu Hills. Hippos, Fish and Crocodiles could be seen from a sunken underwater observatory Tank. Elephant, Zebras, Lions and other game could be seen.

All meals and overnight at Lodge.

Day 3

Early morning game drives before breakfast.
Further game drives in Tsavo West National Park after breakfast en route to Mombasa arriving in the afternoon. You will be transferred to your hotel.
