2 DAYS LAKE NAKURU/HELLS GATE NATIONAL PARK
DAY 1
Meet and greet. Pick up from your residence/Hotel and drive through a part of the central highlands. We make a short stop over at viewpoint to allow you have a panoramic view and appreciation of this magnificent Valley which is indeed, by its own rights a wonder of the World. Soon after, we begin to descend into the Great Rift Valley.
The Lake is the most conspicuous landmark as you approach Nakuru town. It bequeaths the visitor with what is arguably Kenya’s most famous image; thousands of flamingoes united into a massive pulsing pink swathe of life that carpets the water and is fringed to the shores of lake.
We embark on a game drive on this beautiful park that will allow you appreciate God’s awesomeness. The Park is an important sanctuary for the Black and White Rhino who are often seen resting under acacias by the Lakeshore.
In addition the park abounds with game. You are bound to see huge herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe just to name a few. Indeed the park is one of your best chances of sighting a leopard in Kenya.
Proceed for lunch and check-in at Lodge or Tented Camp. Afternoon game drives, dinner and overnight at the Lodge or Tented Camp.
DAY 2:
Early morning game drives breakfast and depart cleft deep into the floor of the Rift Valley to Hells gate National Park. You will see wildlife, birds, The Mervyns Carnelley Raptor Hide, Fischer’s Tower, The lower Gorge, Olkaria Geothermal station. Walking and cycling is allowed in this Park without escort. You will have Picnic lunch.
Afterwards, you will depart for Nairobi, arriving in the evening. You will be transferred to your residence/hotel. End of Safari
